JAAGO Foundation Trust is a non-profit development organization with a mission to eradicate poverty in Bangladesh through education and positive change. JAAGO focuses on various sectors, including education, youth development, women empowerment, climate change, and governance. JAAGO provides free, high-quality education to children through conventional and digital schooling programs, serving 4500 students currently. Our Youth Development Program empowers 50,000 young citizens with skills and resources for national development. JAAGO addresses challenges faced by women and girls, offering alternative learning opportunities in underrepresented communities. Position Summary
JAAGO Foundation Trust seeks dedicated Trainers to join our team for the “Shopner Sharothi” project under GESP (Girls Education and Skills Partnership), specifically focusing on the Skills on Wheels component. Under this component a mobile training center (a transformed bus with all necessary training opportunities) will help us reach the remote upazilas of Cox’s Bazar & Bandarban districts directly, providing a continuous and stable learning environment. This position involves module developing, designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs focused on a range of green technology and sustainability skills such as Climate-resilient farming practices, Organic Farming, Waste Management, Recycling Agricultural Waste, Composting, Solar System Installation, Smart Agriculture, Eco-Tourism, Biogas Technologies, environmental conservation, and renewable energy, etc. The Trainer will conduct needs assessments, develop customized training curricula, facilitate engaging training sessions, and provide ongoing coaching and support to help participants apply newly acquired skills in their roles.

Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials, modules, and curricula focused on various Green Technology and Sustainability Skills such as Climate-resilient farming practices, Organic Farming, Waste Management, Recycling Agricultural Waste, Composting, Solar System Installation, Smart Agriculture, Ecotourism, Biogas Technologies, environmental conservation, and renewable energy, etc.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, seminars, and webinars to impart Green Technology and Sustainability related skills development to individuals or groups within an organization.
- Assess the Green Technology and Sustainability related skills needs of individuals or teams through surveys, interviews, or other assessment tools to tailor training programs according to specific requirements.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions to individuals to address specific technical, Green Technology and Sustainability related skills gaps and help them improve their professional effectiveness.
- Facilitate group discussions, activities, and exercises to enhance participants’ technical skills, foster collaboration, and promote active learning.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluations to participants to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement in technical skills development.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to participants after training sessions to reinforce learning, track progress, and ensure the application of newly acquired technical skills in real- world situations.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends, research, and best practices in Organic Farming, Waste Management, Recycling Agricultural Waste, Composting, Solar System Installation, Smart Agriculture, Eco-Tourism, Biogas Technologies industry and training methodologies to enhance training programs and delivery techniques continuously.
- Collaborate with other trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to align skills development initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and outcomes. Generate reports and analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Seek feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in training content, delivery methods, and overall effectiveness of technical skills development initiatives.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to enhance personal knowledge and skills in technical skills development, training methodologies, and related areas.
Qualification
Education
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Major in Agroforestry, Sustainable Farming, Agri-Entrepreneurship is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of training experience.
Skills and other competencies
- Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles, with experience working in environments focused on girls’ safety.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with adolescent girls.
- Proficiency with training tools and technology (e.g., learning management systems, presentation software).
- Ability to communicate course material in a clear and understanding manner.
- Ability to teach effectively in different learning environments.
- Knowledge of interactive training techniques to keep participants engaged.
- Experience in capacity building, particularly in youth leadership development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a commitment to promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
- Experience working with diverse groups and understanding various cultural perspectives, adapting training styles to meet the needs of various learners.
