Position Summary
JAAGO Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Skill Development Trainer to join our team for the “Shopner Sharothi” project. This position involves designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs focused on Retail Sales Occupation. Trainer will need to conduct need-assessments, develop customized training modules, facilitate engaging training sessions, and provide ongoing coaching and support to help participants apply newly acquired skills in their roles.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials, modules, and curriculum on Retail Sales occupation
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, seminars, and webinars in different context
- Assess the soft skill needs of individuals or teams through surveys, interviews, or other assessment tools to tailor training programs according to specific requirements.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring sessions to individuals to address specific technical and soft skills gaps and help them improve their professional effectiveness.
- Facilitate group discussions, activities, and exercises to enhance participants’ technical & soft skills, foster collaboration, and promote active learning.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluations to participants to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement in soft skill development.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to participants after training sessions to reinforce learning, track progress, and ensure the application of newly acquired soft skills in real-world situations.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends, research, and best practices in Retail Sales industry and training methodologies to enhance training programs and delivery techniques continuously.
- Collaborate with other trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to align skills development initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and outcomes. Generate reports and analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Seek feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in training content, delivery methods, and overall effectiveness of soft skill development initiatives.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to enhance personal knowledge and skills in soft skill development, training methodologies, and related areas.
Qualifications
Education & Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any subject.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of training/ working experience in Retail Sales sector.
Other:
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles, with experience working in environments focused on girls’ safety.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with adolescent girls and sports instructors.
- Ability to communicate course material in a clear and understanding manner.
- Ability to teach effectively in different learning environments.
- Experience in capacity building, particularly in youth leadership development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a commitment to promoting gender equality and social inclusion.
