Position Summary
The Partnership Development Specialist of Private Sector Engagement at JAAGO HQ, Dhaka, is a key role within the Private Sector Engagement Department. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing and executing initiatives to scale the partnerships business model and achieve growth targets in line with JAAGO’s vision and mission. The incumbent will be responsible for developing a roadmap, securing stakeholder support, and identifying innovative ideas to scale the partnerships program. In the business operations aspect, the Partnership Development Specialist will be responsible for 360-degree planning, implementation, and monitoring of campaigns and events, bringing in new partnership ideas, and managing the pipeline of brand contributions. The Partnership Development Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining partnerships, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with finance processes. The incumbent will play a crucial role in driving growth and achieving the short-term objectives of the department.
Job Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Partnership Development Lead, the Partnership Development Specialist, Private Sector Engagement will be responsible for providing services as follows;
Strategy:
- Develop a strategy and roadmap to successfully scale the partnerships and achieve growth targets with a focus on JAAGO’s vision and mission.
- Make recommendations and secure stakeholder support for the standardization of partnerships.
- Identify innovative ideas to scale the partnerships program.
- Create an analytics dashboard to support accurate campaign reporting.
- Leverage campaign performance insights and develop action plans to optimize growth and secure stakeholder engagement.
Business Operation:
- Plan, implement, and monitor campaigns and events.
- Identify new innovative partnership ideas and secure stakeholder support as per the organization’s needs.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery and budget of the partnership’s revenue and profit margin targets.
- Maintain liaison with existing partners and identify ideas for sustainable partnerships.
- Manage the pipeline of partnerships contributions, identify new potential brand partners, and explore new categories.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline the onboarding of brand partners.
- Work with the finance team to ensure all related processes are compliant.
Safeguarding and Gender Sensitiveness:
- Be part of embedding an organizational culture that is committed to protecting people from harm.
- Ensure that the team understands and abides by the organization’s culture of safeguarding.
- Design and implement a gender-sensitive approach (if/where applicable).
Qualifications & Requirements:
This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
A. Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marketing or communication related discipline.
B. Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience in 360 campaign planning and corporate partnership.
C. Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
- Understand the etiquette of corporate communication.
- Significant knowledge of branding and event management.
- Must have a creative mind to come up with projects and creative ideas.
- Prior experience in budget management.
- Highly skilled in presentation making.
- Prior experience in sales or project pitch.
- Must have to be adaptable to technological transformation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in hardship situations and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision & excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken English.
- Enthusiasm to learn.
- This position requires knowledge of formal individual and corporate communication.
- The incumbent must have prior experience to understand the etiquette of corporate communication.
- The position requires the person to take the pressure.
- It also requires that the person have significant knowledge of brand and event management.
